As part of its mission, each year CSHL organizes 25-30 scientific conferences, 20 Banbury Center meetings and 30 advanced technical science courses, with organizers, instructors and participants from all over the world. COVID-19: All 2020 CSHL conferences and courses have gone virtual, been postponed or cancelled outright. We held CSHL’s first ever fully virtual conference on Systems Biology March 11-13, and thank the organizers, speakers and participants for making it an outstanding success under difficult circumstances. By year’s end, we will have hosted 5 virtual courses and 26 virtual meetings, including a series of conferences dedicated to COVID-19/SARS CoV2. We will be making decisions on a rolling basis about events currently scheduled to take place in spring 2021 and beyond, and will update each event page with details as soon as decisions are made by CSHL and the meeting organizers/course instructors. Full advisory NEWS: We congratulate the 2020 Nobel laureates in Chemistry, and note that Jennifer Doudna is one of the founding organizers of our annual CRISPR meeting , which began in 2015 and attracted 750 scientists to attend virtually this pandemic year.
